You don't need to worry about your data in Europe. This is my second purchase and the first trip I went to Frankfurt, Paris, Prague, Vienna, and Budapest, and it was all good!
I just got back from 2 weeks in Italy and ended up using about 7 GB of the 20 available. This was with extensive surfing, navigating, and using instead of the weak WiFi signals at various stops.
The comfort of knowing I had plenty of data available for any situation made this all worth it!!
